Default 1972 Triumph 2000 mk2

Had the hankering for a classic an done the normal thing of trawling ebay for a few months an looking at a few dogs an when i started to give up this turned up at the top of my gf road so happy days !! been in the garage since 1998 !!! this is how it looked when i went to view it

went to pick it up as you would imagin all the brakes where shall we say stuck on but with a good tug off the van it was back rolling
heres a few pick of it gettin winched up on truck

the car is a non runner under further inspection one float on the carbs was jammed open an the float on the other carb jammed closed after a quick tinker free'ed off then no spark :'(
replaced points condesor plug leads an cap and now the feckin coil give up lol got a new one an hope to have it on by the weekend an bit of look it might crack up pic of the engine

My Dad had the MK1 Triumph 2000. Ican even remember the Reg No WFM 875G. It took us a s a family all over France and Spain while he owned it.

If I can get my hands on a decent car as a project it would be a Triumph 1850HL, which again my dad used to own after the Triumph 2000.
