Cool 👀Sierra sapphire cosworth 4x4 Full restoration shell dip 😀

I am in the middle of a full restoration of my j reg ebony black cosworth I've had the car aside dipped by a company called SPL in Dudley West Midlands then I cud see the full extent of the work that needed to be dun and I can tell you that aside dus not hang about there is not one bit of paint left or under seal left at all jus bear metal when I got the car home it was in need of 2 new rear quoters 2new shassylegs where the beam bolts up front both jacking point areas Inner arches both sides new boot floor drivers side tunnel both Back sections of the drivers side and passengers side sill arrears where the sill meets the rear quoter behind the back bumper rear valence so fair I have dun most of the work but there is still a long way to go here's a couple of pitchers so fair

Looks good. I just don't like the idea of rust creeping back from panel seams

Ones all the welding is done it will be going back agen to be dipped then e coted Then rust won't come back e cote gets everywhere mate in all the seams and voids

Incorrect where i work have had shell dipped and e coated by SPL and the e coat dont get between seams. Prior to that i worked for Honda and that process has the same issues which is why they use galvanized steel and seal prior to spot welding panels together.

But to be fair its the best solution and your doing a great job saving another saff
