Mike it's such an impressive build you have to show it the year it's built and get some trophies to with the car, it would be a waste to go to such detail and not show - their isn't many Sapphires that are as detailed as yours at the present

Most of the other nuts/bolts/washer are standard sizes, so I bought bulk and had them zonc plated.

I remember the flanged bolts hard to find, the bolts for the arms and the long bolt through the diff M12x210mm

If your stuck with any let me know and tell you where I got them

Thanks Chris, I probably will do a couple of shows but I don't want to take seriously....concours was a bit 'deep' for me

I would like the build to be finished though so I can get back on the RS scene again and start back up attending some meetings

Apologies for the few updates, small purchases have been made to stock pile the bits needed for the steering, pics to follow....

Anyway, I would like to ask what people's opinions are on Samco hoses,

I will be ordering up a full set of new Samco's and can't decide wether to go for shiney silicone Black or go for the Classic Matt black??

Any input greatly received, thanks boys

Been buying some new bits which have been arriving over the last couple of weeks

Brand new Genuine Ford water pump, complete with refurbed pulley and new bolts replated in gold zinc.

Brand new ISCV

Magnetic plug for the rear diff. Plating on it is poor so not sure what to do with it

Complete set of new, old stock Motorcraft belts for alternator and power steering pump

and Gates belts, not sure which to use,

New genuine Crank sensor

Tarox G88 disc's for the rear

I will be fitting Ferodo DS2500 pads soon. The idea is to get the car running and use it for a bit before going for the Reyland conversion (that way I dont need to fork out on pads again if I already have them)

Bit of a headache the discs....cost £60 but they sent solid discs had to return them and pay an extra £50, £110 all together.

I want the Reyland conversion for the rear once it's on the road but I can't honestly afford AP's for the front so we'll have to see what happens...

Got a good deal on them to,

Poor photo's I know but it's a new camera and battery was going flat, I think I'll stick with the iphone

Samco hoses have been ordered up and I've been informed of 5/8 weeks lead time
