Little update....

Samco's arrived this morning from Burton

Not 100% sure on them, maybe they'll grow on me,

Spark plugs fitted,

New Ford Water pump fitted up,

Been on fookin hours with the fan belts for it, they simply will NOT fit a 4wd so don't anyone waste your money. I've bought Ford, Gates, Halfords, QH and they have all came too short. 913a, 6272.

Basically if you move the alternator as close to the pump as you can go the heat shield on the alternator fouls the manifold. 2wd won't have this problem, so I've been looking through gates catalouge's and ordered a pair up 25mm longer

Fitted up a couple of small bling items and a couple of hoses and took a couple more pics,

It's been a while since I updated this, not that much progress but it's something,

Throttle body assembled and fitted, complete with new re zinced bolts and cometic gasket,

Chromed turbo return pipe, Goodridge oil feed and banjo water pipes fitted,

Power steering pump and Gates belts fitted up,

Steering rack fitted up with Genuine Ford track rod ends,

and I couldn't wait to fit this

and fitted a couple of Samco hoses,

MSD magnetic diff plug fitted and a new SD sticker, better than the last one,

Rear bumper fitted for now as it'll need painting inside, so I haven't put the number plate lamps in etc (no pic of this)

Waiting for the rest of my connectors so I can start making up the new loom, that's it for now, next job is to order up the front Koni's and I can assemble and fit the front struts etc and have steering

Thanks Thanasis, my loom is 99% complete, just waiting on 2x 7W rubber boots for the ignition amps and I can fit it.

How's yours coming along?

Finally finished off my loom just before the weekend and had a chance to part fit it.

Its an L8 loom coil pack ready for wasted spark with standard coil wiring and I managed to fit the original Ford grommet

I would strongly recommend anyone to have a go at making one of these.

I might make another up with the DR25 sleeving

Let me know what you think, I think it's turned out well
