After an eight-month wait, my one-piece billet cams are finally done, extra lift and a few degrees reduced duration on the exhaust cam, the main thing for these being made is to replace the hollow cams with the press on lobes and gear.
until the war with this virus has been won, the on the car can't be completed.

Will it be a pain to start with lower compression?

Keep the updates coming, this is an intriguing project!

starts no problem I did think the same, fuel pressure is in the 2200bar region giving me good fuel atomisation just on the spray a loan. This is the second block at the same compression ratio, plus the supercharger brings the compression up at idle speed I had 3psi from the M45 SC going to a ported M90.

Hello Sean,
I had a mk6 1.6TDCI about 5 years ago and remember reading this thread. I've just bought another thats running a supposed 145bhp, getting into taking up to 200bhp.
I can't believe you're still going with this after all this time! Looking awesome and can't wait to see it finished. Love the commitment 👏🙌

Mine is running the following;
focus 110 injectors
focus 110 turbo
EGR Delete
Decat & High flow back box
Induction kit
HDI tuning ECU flash map

Now since I'd now class you as the expert on these 🤣
Im going to get the bigger intercooler and go for a Dyno remap & see what it makes I'm thinking 160-170? 🤔
But to make 200bhp, what will I need?
I'm guessing the custom 335 injectors, fuel pump and hybrid turbo?
Also do we think the induction kit makes a big difference or would a K&N panel filter be better because the intake is louder than exhaust 🤦‍♂️🤣
