Diet Time
These arrived yesterday , and should be picking up a carbon bonnet today. Last night I also ordered a full set of windows from Plastic 4 Performance and another set of aero catches. Im going to hold off fitting these until I see if the group buy for FG tailgates goes ahead if not I will get one from HARacing , then all parts can be fitted and painted at once in which colour ????

Looking good mate, just had a good read through.
Can't see the point in ITB's on such a highly tuned engine out the factory, but each to their own! I bet it sounds looney!

The more turbos,more fun!
My phase 1 only has uprated brake pads, and still has shit rear tyres and goes very well!

Thanks Mark
Compared to some of the track builds like yours this is just a little toy but it holds its own on track and is still cheap enough that I don't really bother about a blown engine or panel damage.
I have now got my aerocatches fitted to the tailgate and today spent some time trial fitting my FG doors before hopefully painting them tomorrow. I have got the drivers door almost fitting perfect but the passengers side one is twisted slightly so harder to line up. I have to say I was really shocked when I removed the original doors just how heavy they are , hopefully my windows will be here soon from P4P then I can get back out on track.

Not especially quick in a straight line, but so long as all the suspension and steering components are in good order the handling is very good as standard.
They arent slow mind, just not actually fast if that makes sense?
Similar to most other N/A hot hatches like a civic type r etc.
But no match as standard for something like a Mk2 focus RS for example.

Had a bit of a set back as P4P now say my windows won't be ready untill the 27th ,so I have cancelled the fronts and re ordered them from ACW this time with sliders which should be here this week. This will allow me to get the car water tight and useable.
Make shift booth
And fitted , they still need a flat back and polish but not too bad overall considering it was my first attempt at a 3 stage paint.

Got my front windows through from acw can't thank them enough for the quick turn around an quality. Just hope my rears come through soon from p4p
I'm having a bit of a nightmare with the central locking , when I lock the doors with the remote they lock but then the outside handles won't work when unlocking untill the inside ones have been used once.

Yes tony really helped me out , it's just a shame he can'tdo the shaped Clio rear or I would of got the full set from him
Well after all the work toget the car back together and ready for ford live at knockhill this weekend I've actualy ended up back offshore so going to miss it
Was planning on using the Clio and also seeing what a 500 bhp focus is like on track but looks like that will have to wait.
On the plus side but the time I get he the rest of my windows and parts for my extended/shortened gear shift will be waiting. After that I've got a few other parts to remove for weight then get it back on the scales to see what's been saved.

Couple of pictures from Saturdays open pit morning at knockhill.
Car was faultless all day drove it there did 6 track sessions including a couple of 30+ min sessions, changed the wheels and drove home.
And since the focus is now sold I bought a sensible 330D daily from Pete3dr on here, so hopefully the clio will get a bit more track work now I don't have a 500bhp road car to have fun in.

I bought a phase 1 head last week as they have larger exhaust ports, the plan is to send that away for porting/skimming and to get supertech valves fitted.
Im still trying to not go stupid so the bottom end will be staying standard , but hopefully with the head I will see a small improvement and with the valves it should be safer at high revs.
