Alright chris, hows it going mate?
I have been a big poor with the updates as not a great deal had been happening and i was on holiday when you posted so only just seen.
Both bathrooms are fully functional now, a couple of months ago i had the doors fitted upstairs, i was going to have a go but would only end up cocking it up, and a guy over the road is a chippy so said he would do them for £20 a door as its on his doorstep. So silly not to really. Then a few weeks ago i got round to glossing them.
I still need to filler the hall skirting and architrave, rub down and paint it again. And a few small jobs to do just to finish off the bathroom, ie fit 1 bit of skirting the fill and paint.
Thats pretty much it inside but i cant be arsed any more. Its all usuable lol.
Then there is what was the bathroom downstairs, now just got a toilet and sink in and going to get matey over at some point to knock up some sliding doors and turn part of it into a cloakroom.
The biggest progress to date is the driveway, we had it done while we were on holiday and it looks soooo much better. Had to borrow more money off dad tho...
All thats left now really is the garden, have a little bit of cash left from dads loan so will see what costs are involved and get the guy that done the drive back round to see if he will do most of it as he is only round the corner too.
Will get dome pics up!

pics:
bit more done than I remember lol
ensuite bathroom nearly done
the boy having a go at grouting lol
done. I have done the window trims too, but no pics
main bathroom
tiled the kitchen window sill. note I had a go at mitre cuts on the external edge
after that we had the carpet fitted
pic of spare room didn't upload, but not much different lol
so literally as the carpet fitters left I threw the hoover round then shot off to ikea to lower the cmax...
I think I got home about 6pm and set straight to it assembling all the shit in the boxes lol
paid like £50 for the lights that come on when open the doors lol
also had 2 bedside tables and finished it all about 1am but the pic didn't upload of them...
then it was on to do the daughters room. had it all plastered then painted it pink and silver... she chose the colours!!
then back to ikea with the mother-in-law as she wanted to kit out her bedroom.
and one happy poppy!
then its back out to the front of the house. this was done mid august.
how it was, well the pile of shit on what was the front garden was a concrete section in front of the house I had to break up.
end of play day 1 (found the gas pipe... was about 5" below the old driveway!) had to get utilities services out to repair that one...
day 2
they had to rebuild the manhole etc
and then we went on holiday to come back to this: had a little step put in too.
and that's about where its at now!
as said, the next big expense is the garden, but as ever funds are very very low....
