Small update today
Got my cylinder head back this week, all good there now it's all been cleaned and painted new valve guides fitted, new valves and stem seals it had to have a lite skim really just to clean up the face!
The engine has stared going back together now so should hopefully get it back in the car soon!
I have got the engine loom in my van cleaned it up at work today so I thought I could re tape it tonight whilst watching the box but the wife was not in favour of this idea !
Not sure what's up with her it might be last weekend looking back when I decided to put the 2 halves of my inlet manifold through the brand new dishwasher
I don't recommend that it's taken me a week to get the smell of petrol out of the kitchen ! She was not happy

Thought it was about time I did a bit of a progress update on how the build is getting on! The engine is now back in the car after a massive wiring nightmare it now runs, the wiring loom had been hacked to pieces by whoever stripped the shell that I brought so a complete loom change had to be carried out a bit of a nightmare but I got there in the end with much help from a fellow enthusiast to say he knows his ford wiring is a bit of an understatement specialising in cosworths! Have now got all the dash back in and secured everything works now all lighting, central locking windows all sweet
The plan now is to get the remaining bits built up ASAP I want the car ready for national day and ford fair so am really pushing to get mot done by 2nd week of June which should give me plenty of shakedown time before going to any shows!
A few pics of work so far
The freshly built engine all ready to be put in
Finally managed to get it in
My new airtec cooler and rad
Dash and carpets are starting to go back in
Front end finally going back together!
Front end is pretty much there now new headlamps and genuine ambers all fitted!
Like I said the car runs now all brakes have been bled cooling system is run up just need to change coil, leads, cap and rotor arm as there the only bits left to replace, also got some mint front fog lamps to go in this weekend

A small update to my project, been snatching as much time as I can in the evenings the last couple of weeks trying to get the car finished as my mate is scheduled to do the mot on the 14 th of June! This only gives me 2 more weeks to try and get everything finished off!
Managed to get all the interior back in now this has been one of the easiest jobs so far although I am getting really frustrated with the whole thing now and just want it to end!
Just a few pictures of interior really plans for this week are to do a few last bits of tidying up on the underside touching up paint, checking all bolts are tight aim to have it back on the deck by the end of the week hopefully have time this week for machine polishing as well it will make it look much better being as I'm not doing a repaint on it just yet,

No mate I've not painted it I brought the shell in fairly good nick and have just built it up as it is for now I'm a car painter by trade so I will get round to it eventually more than likely run it for a couple of seasons then do paintwork! Just really wanted to concentrate on getting it driving how I would like first, it has had a fair amount of paint much of this was done just before I brought it will put more pics up after the correction should look pretty good then!

Just a small update car is back on the ground as of tonight! Had its first road test (private road) all seems well think its in need of a good setup as seems to be chucking out loads of fuel not sure if this is just down to the grey injectors that it has in it! Apart from that all is good just have a few minor jobs to finish off now, then will give it a good machine polish and a inside out upside down detail and should be finished! My mate is doing mot next week so will then get it to msd for the once over then hopefully enjoy it for a couple of months!
This is how it looked this evening!

Just a small update as to where I am now! I had the car set up by Mark Shead at Ma Developments at the beggining of this month!
It is running really well now! The drive there was a bloody nightmare as car was running like a pig but I managed to nurse it there without breaking down.
Mark is a genius and within half an hour of him working under the bonnet it was like a different car! He then set it up on the road and needless to say the drive home was an absolute pleasure.
So a big thanks to mark for that!!!
We also discussed the next options for the car as I'm still running a t3 at the minute so I will deffinatley be back for turbo upgrade and more boost very soon!
I have also managed to get the car resonably clean now and have done some correction work to the paintwork although its not great it is better than it was before
This was taken durring the correction looking ok but wheels really need to go as they spoil the whole look of the car!
The engine bay still needs some improving you can see my refurbed heat shield though quite pleased with that!
Zaino products really impressed with this stuff!
This is it at the momment thanks for looking some opinions on wheel choice needed though lol!
