Lol I know the feeling all too well I'm kinda stuck with this car as the missus wanted to use it at our wedding which we did so it will gradually get better over time! Might even eventually chop out the floorpan and go the yb route but for now the efi engine will do just gutted the summers over! Got a 2.8 mk3 Capri to restore which is gonna get a turbo technics kit fitted! Too many projects and not enough time lol

Nice

Makes me miss my boosted shabby all the more seeing yours, and the nice soft feel of a Mohair hood..
Nothing beats 130+ with the Hood down, they also clean there own cockpits too at that speed, my rizla's always used to dissapear after a spirited drive, and i never hoovered mine once in the 6mths(while it worked)that i had it

Either way leave the Tango's alone, they work so well against the white

It a Manual or Leccie roof boss??

And keep the updates flowing, rs cabs deserve so much more credit than they get imop, and yours is just right an example.

Cheers for the comment mate! I dont get much speed out of this even though im not a speed demon but i love the feel of driving an escort turbo and feeling the boost when they aint broken down lol. Come to think of it ive only ever hoovered mine once and that was when i originally had the plan to sell it on before i made the subtle changes and decided to keep it! Yeah white with amber is a must and im just not a fan of the clear indicators tbh! it works on some cars but not on others! mercury grey must have ambers imho but maybe im just being buyist? lol. yeah its an electric roof on this one and works great for just now cant wait to turbo her and get driving in the summer! The car will no doubt change slightly over the years but only for the better!! cheers

Mines is the efi n/a cvh so its just a case of swapping everything over from a frst and plug in the ofac ecu so ive been told! il need to start collecting the parts and have a bash at building the engine myself before i fit it! should take me all of next year to collect and build the engine then take it off the road winter next year and actually do the work! im planning on an underside resto with everything new and powdercoated with new suspension etc and when the engine is out my brother is going to paint the engine bay so its mint and fit the efi frst engine! Im hoping to get to a very high standard and see about a feature at some point

you still got this car? this is what inspires me to crack on with my cabby, i am wanting the outside to look pretty much the same(although i keep toying with the idea to go red instead). Getting hold of the wheels is going to be a hard part, may see what 15s look like under the arches
