Ive just recently changed my intercooler to a rs500 one and replaced the radiator and fitted a new t34 turbo.

It used to run a 4x4 intercooler with a t34 turbo but have now got the bigger housing one

Ive been told I will have to get it re mapped and need to get a lambda sensor put in??

Any suggestions?

Forgot to say its had stage 3 and running dark greens

why do you need to put a lambda senser in? whats it for an afr gauge?

No idea then mate lol is it still on a 2wd ecu? unless they wont to check the afr from there or is it going on wasted spark? i have one in mine on the down pipe about 4 inches from the turbo but its there for my afr gauge when its mapped the workshop one is used that gos in the tail pipe!

yep still on the 2wd ecu, L6 is meant to be much better....

I think the lamda sensor suggestion was for a MSD type closed loop conversion. This gives massively improved fuel economy and driveability off boost. You can re-map it without so it's not essential.

if its not on wasted spark there is no reason at all to have a lambda senser mate id ask them what they need one for lol

L6 is 2WD (Saph) L1 is 3DR, there is no benefit to be had from the L6.

If you want things like CL, WS, ALS, LC etc then you want a L8.

Alot of tuners do like to fit a lambda when live mapping on the road.

Wasted spark is avaliable on the whole family, so L1 and L6 as well.
