chopping the rear arches out like that is going to give you so much room later on to get some big rubber under there to fill the body kit & get it low enough to look right .
so many people fit a big arch kit & not cut the old inner out high enough that they usually look crap as the car sits to high so the big wheels do not touch the old wheel arch .well done for doing it right . .

I would of braced the shell at the rear to stop any flexing as your cutting out all the strength
Id get some measurements off a standard car and check before I welded anything back in.
Glad to see your still working on it

Looking at how close you want to run your turrets together you may struggle to keep good camber angles when pushing your hubs out to fill the rear arches.
How wide are your rear wheel/tyres?
Do you have them yet?
Do you know the ET?
I would want to mock the rear wheel / upright and turret all in before i welded the turrets in

I take it from the pictures that they are rear arb brackets are you using a bladed arb at the front aswell?
If you are running engine so far back are you just using front cradle for steering rack and suspension mounts?

yes there rears ,i dont know if hes running front one hes running standard front ,realy needs uprights etc on front now or mod the fronts to match rear or the roll centres etc will be different also the ackerman so you will have the front geometry fighting the rear to an extent so will be hard to get a balance unless its just for straight line

Her are some pictures.
The crossmember is only for fitting the tcas, not gonna use it, must build new.
The turrents are finished in top, they are 2 cm back from the centerline and now 96 cm between them( correct whizzy??), they are only spot welded if i need to change them, in the bottom they are loose, not gonna weld before i get the parts from mark so the correct angels etc will be correct this time!!!
Engine was sitting to low in the car so there was no room for the diff, so i lifted the engine about 7 cm, now its possible to use the skyline diff

Hi m8!
My turrets are 96cm between each other inside!
I ad all my measurements off mark @ Mk
If I was u I would wait until u get all yr bits first as u may need to higher yr turrets!
Really mine needed to be abit higher but I couldn't wait lol!

As said I would wait until you have all the parts to mock up the rear before you weld anything up for good.
It was 96 between turrets
Good luck with the rest of the build
