Hi guys, hoping someone can help!

This may be a rather obvious question to some but I will ask for my own peace of mind. I have just purchased a 1987 mk2 orion 1.4. I am planning to swap the engine out for a carbed 1.6 lump and gbox, which I know is a strait swap. However I want to lower the car but do not want to sacrifice ride comfort to much so my question is this:

Do mk3 and mk4 escort suspension components fit the mk2 orion with no modification????

Any help would be gratefully recieved, also relating to other interchangable components!

Yep mk4 Escort suspension is the same as the mk2 orion. I lowered my orion on spax 60mm springs with adjustable dampers on saturday and it looks awesome but at the cost of ride comfort.

Im out of town this week but as soon as I get back on friday ill be taking the first pics of the bog standard original beauty!
Ive been looking at other threads on orions and getting lots of ideas, I plan on fitting a saph spoiler but other than that i'd like to keep the looks as ford intended!
my only worry now is that ill spend all my time and money on this, my every day motor, and neglect my mk3 capri resto project!
