Default my Escort project (yum)

hi had my escort a few months now so thought i would get a thread up of how it is comin on
its getting there slowly but none the less its getting there!
let me no what you think and if you have any ideas :dunno:

how it was when i first got it

first things first was to get it running properly! there was alot of wiring that had to be sorted!! then the brakes need all sorting new pipes master ect then re routed loads of bits round the car! then got some seats fitted

then we started cleaning! it needed alot of work dont think it had seen a wash for a long time!! to be fair still needs work now

it was nearly time for a test drive so i fitted some avo coilovers and took it out for its first drive!

Followed the thread on the Escos forum.

Nice to see it back...i liked it on the white Revolutions but the only thing i'd change is the centre caps & put ambers with 500 grills in.

Love the deleted aero pack.

Looks good back on the road. Needs wider rear wheels though since the arches have been stretched for them.

Glad it's been saved and actually back running again, however I'd change a few wee bits.

I'd throw on ambers and 500 grills, buy another plate for it because it's not 'YUM' anymore and referring to it as that has always been a bit spastic... more so now it's not the car that people think of when 'YUM' is mentioned.

Love the car without the upper rear spoiler though, wouldn't bother fitting the carbon rear lip spoiler unless you were planning to fit quite a bit of extra carbon to tie in with it.

LOL @ the t-shirt. Your mates have good banter.

Cheers,
Grant

I no what you mean mate first thing I looked at was a plate! h8 yum
That's why they done the jumper cos I get the hump with everyone calling it yum but it is the first thing people say when they see it

Haha, H8 YUM would be a brilliant plate.

I'm not sure that it would look right if you colour coded the wolf spoiler, a bit stuck on maybe?? But if you left it carbon it would look good, as long as there were other bits which tied in with it.

Cheers,
Grant

Looks lovely mate, i'd leave the whale tail off, and as others have said, just fit the ambers and 500 grills!
Nice to see it back on the road.
