Hi Mate love the escos i have just bought one too if you decide to sell the lights let me know i will trade you for some parts i might have you need for the build
Cheers
Yeah, suppose it makes sense if you have the parts there. I just prefer 4WD, think it suits the Escort more.
Looks like you can pedal the 2WD ok judging by your seeding at Snetterton so fair play!
Cheers, have had 3 overall wins in the sierra so not to bad for a old bird, was 2nd overall on the first leg at Rockingham on saturday night, then diff input shaft sheered off on sunday so DNF !!
Well started doin things, my group a rear beam and arms, along with crossmember, hubs and rear coilover springs have been blasated and are at the powder coaters, just fitted the electric power steering colum,. Found some bits with a bit of tin worm, so welded them all up! Washed off the underneath today ready to paint!
Have also found out from the MSA log book the previous 3 owners, it was a irish rally car, have traced history,[lots of pics!] from 1997 to 2004. Its on a irish plate so easyier to spot!
Going to keep digging to see what else its done!
Nice progress. Anyone of interest used it in its past?
Biult buy Maurice Gass in 1996, then Gary white, then Fenton Mc Grady. All irish boys.
Car was quite well known in its day!!
Picture of Gary White back in the day!!
