Plans for it are to strip it down and do the stuff needed and put my own touch on it,
New wings, front arches and front panel, new inner wings ect and other general repairs.
Respray in white with gold 13in comp ml's, 9in on the back and 8in on the rear.
Here is a few photos, the 1st is just one that i found on the net of when a previous owner had it,

Got a wee day on the car , removed the pinto and carbs ect and cut the n/s wing off to see what was lurking underneath.
A couple of rough wee repairs in the past to flitch and the verticals, also some rust on the hinge panel. Will all be cut out and replaced niceley!
Hopefully get another look at it tomorow and get some panels bought the start of the week!
Here's a few pics, not much to show rite enough!
Cheers,auld

Wee update............
Got a good shift done on the car over the last few days and made a good bit of progress.
Cut the top of the n/s inner wing off ready for replacement soon, got the unerseal off the inner wing with a heat gun and scraper which was not a nice job but turned out well in the end! Cut the previous MOT spec repairs out or the bulkhead, hinge panel and flitch panel ready for the new metal to be let in.
Some of the repair panels are from expressed and are very good quality but quite expensive, others are from magnum panels which are quite poor needing a fair bit of work to fit.
Got the panels all cut to shape, had to fabricate a piece for the bulkhead to where the innerwing will attatch, all welded up in place today and dressed back.
Starting to make a bit of progress with it now just hope the motivation stays! lol

Another we update folks!!
The rear firewall and turret infill sections are done and looking very nice!
James at South West Restos fabricated it and added some nice swaging to the panels to stiffen them up and add a bit of detail!
The alloy panel isnt fully riveted on yet, just a few screws holding it. The wee ripples wont be there once its riveted.
Anyway here are a few pics......

Thanks guys,
Really like Le mans green but dont think it suits an arched mk1 so think it will be going Ermine white, real low and on the wide ML's.

Thats the O/S tower fitted and gussets and the coilover bracket and my bilsteins all on. Also James has fabricated a cover and extended the curve on the boot floor to give the watts kit more clearance.

Very happy with the work that has been done by South West Restos, and witha wee bit of work the the rear arches the 10 inch comps will fit nice which is a bonus!
Picked up a nice pair of nos genuine ford wings while i was down there so once the mk2 recovery is finnished i can press on with this!
Here are a few pics...
