Update, yay, today was the first time i have worked on it since i fooked my wrist, and have done prep today. Firstly, i tidied the cuts up so it was all good, made all the templates, cut them out, bare metalled the rust, primered it, and welded one patch in. My weldings getting better Saturday should have all the patches welded up, then its rear floors, chassis legs and spare wheel well, then sills, then front wings, then seam welding the entire car, then rear quarter and rear panel. Then paint and underseal. Thats this years plans sorted

Sadly, your brothers right. Its a heap of an xr, currently scrap worthy. It will be worth sweet f.a once its done, but its mine, and Im proud of that and no updates until the 6 week holidays, when it will hopefully be nearly welded up at the end of it. Just the rear quater and rear light panel after that.

Its comin along slowly, my patching skills are shite. But my Im gonna force my dad to help me. I want it solid and on the floor by this winter. And yeah, might join. other things are dragging my life along atm, so i have no enthusiasm tbh. But waddington air show this weekend should cheer me up. Also helping my brother move house
