Default Restoring Weather strips and Window rubbers

Now i would love to make the purchase on brand new rubber weather strips and window rubbers however the extortionate prices ford want to charge for something that costs them a couple of quid to make has forced me to start a thread in the quest for a way to restore them..

mine have gone almost cloudy, not really black any more and also a little too soft, i doubt i can change the density of the material but can i at least keep them a nice colour without topping it up with back 2 black trim polish lol

Also while i'm here who knows where to get that shitty horrible glue they use to stick things everywhere (weather strips, scuttle cover etc.. you know the black rubbery glue that's really sticky/tacky)

Sounds like you need a trip down the brakers to get good rubbers off a focus, usually just a double sided foam tape to stick them on
