Default Norwegian trackday Cosworth (new part: Getrag 420G, 6 speed gearbox)

Hi
I wanted to start my own thread here at this forum. To get feedbacks and ideas.

Here is the car:
200 escos-block with 0.5mm overbore
4x4 fully ported by jenspeed
std compression
rewelded intake manifold
2wd exhaust manifold
rs500 ic, kn-filter, moongoose ++

When i bought my car it had some rust and a bad engine.
Jenspeed helpt me built i new engine, and the rust i fixed my self.

When i put the car together i work`t ok. But I was really not satisfied with the turbo selection.
I got the boost at 4500rpm. It was a Precision turbo. Can`t remember witch turbo it was.

The next winter i decided to get a new turbo and some other parts.
A Garret GT 3071R, GAZ Gold+++

Then i had the car running the hole summer, and i was really satisfied with the car.
Only problem i had was the clutch:

The winter came again and i wanted to switch out the crappy L8 engine system.
So i bought Autronic SM4

The car was finaly finish and ready for the dyno run:

This was the result in the dyno. I was really happy!!!
This was with:
200 escos-block with 0.5mm overbore
4x4 fully ported by jenspeed
std compression
rewelded intake manifold
2wd exhaust manifold
rs500 ic, kn-filter, moongoose ++
autronic sm4 with 4 msd coils and 1200cc injectors
bp320ht cams with vernier pulleys
garret gt3071R with 0.63A/R exhaust
1.8 bar boost
mapped on regular 98Ron leadfree fuel

Drove the car for a little while and the lifters collapsed
Due to the dobble valve springs and the BP 320HT cams

Replaced them with some new "stronger" ones.

That was some crappy lifters. They collapsed at a trackday event here at Rudskogen.
This was the result:

So i needed to build me a new engine, so i thought: Why not go all the way now with a real trackday cosworth. I started do get parts i wanted for the car until there was no more money
Mustang/cobra 8,8" rear diff, brembo evo calipers, tilton, fuelcell+++++++

Then i started working on the car:

Then i started working on the engine:

Made myselv some new front top mount:

Got some new rims:

Have welded the roll cage but haven`t got any photos of it yet. Gonna try taking some soon.

Very nice work mate. Looks like a serious bit of gear!
Were you able to repair the head or did you scrap it?
I look forward for updates!

Superb fabrication work there.

Surprised you had that problem with the lifters on a relatively mild cam like the 320HT though (under 11mm lift and only 264 degrees, the name is very misleading!)
