Needed some wheels for the weekend after the mess up at team dynamics.
So Guy Woodcock to the rescue.
Sadly I need to hand them back lol.

PassionFord Post Whore!!
I have seen a cage he welded into a MK6 GTi last month and it's mint.
He's built this as an all out rally car thats going to no doubt get pranged and bent here and there so looks and don't think were on top of Matts tick sheet.
He's rivvet the kit on in preperation for hitting hay bales, as he knows it will happen

Fair play but proper welding finishes any competition car off. Besides, people like to see a proper prepared car and a cage is not something you can just lash together. (Not saying it is lashed just could be nicer)

Will post a few pics up of the other white one later.
The dash idea was taken from the old works mk1 escorts as they ran with a twin dash.

I have recently been informed it was used to pre pressureise the system which will increase the boiling point of water and help to stop cavitation.

Is the cage T45 or CDS and what wire did you use?
p.s. I'm not having a go at you. Your fab work and the finish on everything else is top notch, its just i can see you running into problems with the logbook.

The car wont get its log book if the welds are of a poor appearance. Poor appearance often equals poor welds, it says something along those lines in the msa blue book. I can see pits and gaps and poor penetration,
