Picked this up last weekend bit of an ebay bargain!

Removing engine tomorrow, its already RS pwered but ive got another RS engine to put in it already lol something ive got up the lock up.

It still needs to be converted with wiring and fuel lines, tank etc

Friend of mine has a rotten RS 2000 he is allowing me to rape for parts to complete convertion.

Hope to get it up and runing over next few months for a cheap as possible.

It came with leather seats I am ebaying lol will fit RS seats too.

Any way, heres some pics...

Gona be great for me dog and throwing tools and engines into the back.

You wont believe me but... I have lots of spares laying around so this is what I am putting in the engine

2L Block
2L Rods standard but LnB and heat treated with ARP's.
Forged Omega pistons high comp skimmed to low comp as they died from det!
LnB Crank.
Nissan 200sx manifold fitted to a water cut RS2K flange.
+ Turbo lol

Budget build as all free from parts bin so far also using MegaSquirt to run it lol

In two weeks stripping an RS2K with a coupl eof mates to get all bits for the van!

Should see 200bhp mate on that tubo, not to sure what it is tbh lol

It was for a skyline, T3/T4? got it off a pal and it's mint so I'll use that first.

Keeping it proppa budget tbh lol It's my mates fault though tbh as he was up my unit and I was working on his car.

You'll see it in perfomance ford soon its a 2.3 turbo @ 305BHP and 320lbps. awsome tool.

No doubt once its finished be funny to go for more power LOL

Well got myself a donor car!!

RS2K arrived tonight... it's proppa rotten so dont get upset at the fact I am raping it then chopping it up lol

The wheels are my mates so not for the van lol I got a set sorted though.

Not sure but may keep steelies on it yet lol

When I have stripped it I'll put some pic's of the rust up Lewis.

I could fir my fist through the sills there that bad and three in gap down front inner sill.

The lads on the RS forum don't seem to happy I think at me stripping it lol

quick question Kev...my mate has an RS2K 4x4 and wants better brakes, could he fit escos 4x4 or 2wd?

Alright Jonny bud, yeah you can but tbh I wouldn't as you have to fit with spacers which significantly changes the offsets.

If he wants cheap but good upgrade on brakes he'd be better going for MK3 Mondeo callipars up front with ST170 discs and if he hasn't got rear discs already he could fit ST170 set up to keep abs but the arches would need a verl slight rolling as again offset changes.

Going to strip the rest of the stuff out the RS when I can for the van and then bring the van home to get all conversion done at my leasure then.

Knackered though, wont be changing an engine like that again, thougt it would be easiier but it wasn't lol
