hi im new to the fourm and brought a mk4 escort 1.3 last week, i plan to build somthing i can use on trackdays..etc
it had a few bits of rust but iv now welded it up and started putting the rs turbo body kit on, i brought a set of bucketseats for it, planing to get roll cage, coliovers, cosworth brakes, and put a zetec in it, also have some escort cosworth alloys to go on heres a few pics so far

Fairly clean mk4 there! Dunno if a Duratec will fit, but its worth trying think it will fly on track!!

cheers, and yea i would like to fit one, if not i guess it would be an st170 engine going in, would a turbo in a fwd go well on the track ? i thought it wouldent thats why im thinking about a duratec on throttle bodys or sumin
anyway i did a bit more today, took the spare wheel well out and trimed a bit out of the back bumper

I run an ST170 lump in mine and its awesome, deffo worth considering

yea i been looking at your car its lovely i did the front bumper today and smoothed the ford badge, just need to put some vents in the bonnet and prep the body kit and then i will look at getting the car painted

will update this soon its nearly ready to be painted! after listening to a few people i decided an rs turbo engine conversion will be the best way to go, if anyone has one for sale and any of the other bits i need drop me a pm cheers
