that oil is no good in a mtx75 mate , its too thick . you should be running mt75 gear oil.

its a year 2000 mondeo engine, and diesel focus/mondeo gearbox, was a 1.6 shell,

no we used the original loom out of the focus for the lights and fans, then omex engine loom mate,

update time, been 2 weeks without photos, getting there now,

light doors






happy with how the manifold turned out, got to sort water pipes out, and boost pipes, boost controller and acwell then fire up time, cheers lads, roll on track days, time to do some hunting.

got screamer pipe finished tonight, just waiting on our rear screen to be finished and rest of pipe to turn up, pics to follow, getting there now

Just spOke with ian,
Head is assembled, hes just going to shim the cam followers to my cams for me
And should be able to get it back by end if the week,


As for gearbox cooler, its deffo somthing i would recomend mate ,
I use atf dextron II fluid and a grayson cooler ,
Keep the gearbox temps down and it will serve you well

we might need to think about that next year when we up the power, but really want to sort out the rear sub frame and wided track first, got any pics of your cooler set up?

would not like to add up grant, we have not gone crazy with spending the money, we need it finished to get out there and shake it down, we still got alot of development to do with the suspension set up, cheers lads, roll on the spring track days

hi guys, this is our front end pretty much done, fully bespoke, no more shit plastic headlight surrounds, and a pic of the light weight tailgate, got our down pipe and boost pipes cut and ready for welding, cheers.

not sure to be honest, dont want to push it on o.e. pump as it will be getting a tough time on track, it might be plenty or we might want more, and in that case we will want to go dry sump, and up the power.

yea know what your saying, but its at the back of my mind all the time, its not going to be getting a easy life though, flat out all its life, dont want to be building gearboxes every other track event, but as you know you can soon get used to the power, hopefully we have built it well enough to push things on toward 500 if we need too.

digi dash turned up today and boost controler on its way, loom for the display looks very interesting to wire up, boost pipes and downpipe are being finished tomo, silencer is being made this week too, pics to follow soon.
