A-Jays Mk6.5 Fiesta TDCI Project Thread
Hi everyone!! New here, Got my ZS in October but have only just got round to joining passion ford and putting this
up!!
Ill start my project thread by quickly introducting myself and my car history.. My names Adam Beadle im 21 and i
come from Darlington in the north east...
My last car which i had before my Fez was a 2001 VW Polo, It was so so clean and It got polished nearly every two
weeks and also i used a clay bar a few times, I also did the usual Mods, coilovers, alloys etc etc...
Enough about that, ill get onto my Fiesta, I bought it totally standard FSH, great condition inside and out with
34,000 on the clock for £6000 which i was very pleased with!
They are the pictures I took just after i bought it!
Now came my decisions on what to do with it.... Modificationss??
First of all i started with pressed plates, I just think that they look so much better than plastic ones.
After the bad winter and all the snow had cleared, i finally had chance to give it the first big clean, clay bar and
polish...
50/50
Nice reflection in the door after clay...
The bonnet after clay looked amazing..
I then wanted more lows... After having coilovers on my old car i couldnt drive round on stilts, but i didnt want to
affect ride quality, i went for 45mm Rude Racing Eibach springs and also bought a machine polisher, this is how it
looked after I fitted the springs and machine polished and carnauba waxed it:
Around a week or two after the previous photo i took my car to Big Fish Tuning in Stokesly and had my car remapped,
it has not been on the rollers yet so i am yet to know accurate figures, but he said around 120hp and 200ft lbs.
Very happy with the results as my car is giving me around 10mpg better than it did before and is alot more
responsive also being able to keep up with my mates 150bhp Astra Diesel.
Quick picture taken of my car showing you it a bit dirty when i went to Glentress and Innerleithen riding with one
of my mates 2 weeks ago, this also explains to you why i had a detachable towbar fitted lol..
Another addition... DMB badges came!
Before:
After:
When i clean my car on Saturday I will do the front and rear badges and get some photos put up!
These came last night, should be on this weekend .. Wait also for a picture of the wheels, the last one should be here tommorow or the next day
Tell me what you think and also what suggestions you have!
Cheers!
