Hey guys,

Only me again... Just booked the RS into the trimmers for a lick of black leather

Issue is, when driving the vibrations make the recaro's recline on their own!! I know this happens, but never had it with mine before... Is there a fix for this? New mechanisms maybe?

Anyone had this and solved it? Just keen to find out before I leather the seats. Dont want to do it twice thats for damn sure :-S

1.9 xr2 on 40's

tighten everything you can and make sure theres no large tolerences in the cranks

Yeah the trimmer said that he was going to try all the usual things, tightening etc... Cheers though buddy. Just hope your suggestion works and the seats tighten!

Can you buy replacement parts for the mechanisms on them or is it a case of buy some on Fleabay and hope they work?!?

Surely they can fix them or change parts in them...

Behind the winder there is a rubber seal that is usually perished. I just stuck a big fat rubber seal in there stopped it from wobbling backwards.

Now that I'll try! Nice easy fix, maybe 15 minutes work and 20p for some rubber washers!
