Basically, i have a series 2 Escort RST, with a zetec turbo conversion that was built on a budget, i had my fun with it, and abused it slightly too much and killed it.

It was just a standard silvertop 2 litre, rebuilt with 1mm skimmed pistons, stage 3 T3 on cvh manifold with adaptor plate, big front mount, alloy rad, Rover 220 Turbo inlet manifold, Omex management.

For the current rebuild, so far i have got- 2 litre silvertop doner, Focus RS gearbox (with custom driveshafts for mk4 escort) with selectors and mounts etc, Wossner forged pistons, PEC forged rods.

I am also on the case of getting a set of double valve springs.

i am aiming for around the 350bhp area...

What Turbo and exhaust mainifold do you guys recomend?? I have been offered a Focus RS manifold and standard turbo. GT25? What power are these good for?

and what injectors? i curently have Rover Red Band injectors. Not sure what they max out at?

Hello mate. I have a complete focus rs inlet for sale inc injectors and loom t/body etc. I will also be selling my gt25 hybrid turbo and GGR tubular manifold soon as I'm upgrading. My engine is giving me a dyno proven 365 with a couple of other mods running on dream science race map. Hope this helps and contact me if you want any bits.

standard mani and turbo will push 320ish, but i would be looking at some new injectors as that coud be 1 reason the old engine went pop, think there only 280-300cc look for some 440+ for that power, as above would be a good turbo and mani
