Splitter tops off the front end a treat. I liked the dark silver/grey rims too but whites ok. Splitter just needs blackening up a bit!

Thanks for the kind words and interest

Yes the splitter will be getting satin blacked its one of them. Cheap ebay ones so thought I would get it to fit first then paint it

I need to purchase a camera all the pics I have through the hole build have been on camera phones and the quality is gash
Think it deserves so decent pics now

CheeRS fella
All the running gear on it is cosworth
The front are 4x4 ones with just the cv left in them as at the time when I bought the coil overs I didn't no 4x4 and 2wd were different

What saph project are going to be doing ?

Oh ok cool ill have to search for a complete set of legs then,

I've got a 1.8 saff and originally was going to fit a 24v v6 boa into my fiesta but now I got this saff its a lot easier and safer lol, but as the shell is solid I'm going to try and turn it as close to cossie spec as I can get without throwing money away on the proper bits like the lump

That's exactly what I have done with mine. Everything on it is cosworth bar the lump as I just can't afford to run and maintain a yb at the moment but if the time comes we're I can I can just drop one in

Ye if want cos breakes you will the hubs
Also if you want discs on the back and the abs you will have to get cos arms because the 1.8 arms don't have the holes for abs sensors

Great built thread looks like you have had a lot of hard work to get it where it's at now well done.

It might look even better if you lose those twin headlamps and fit a nice clean set of lattice or shark tooth 15" Ford alloys will give it a nice original cossie look and it will ride the bumps 10 x better on smaller wheels.

Thanks pal Ye it has been hard work especially with it being on a budget
For most of the time it was done out side on the sea front
Then the unit were I painted it got locked up and the car seized due to the owner doing a runner with lots of money. That was a hard time trying to get it back. But it's been worth it in the end

I love the lights so they will be staying but a set of shark tooth are on the to get list. And will see what they look like on to then make a decision

The one that's in it on the pics I painted with satin black. It looks spot on and you would be pushed to notice. But if you stroke it it feals like dry pubes But to be honest does eny one sit in there car strokeing the roof

The second one I've sprayed with auto glym carpet dye. Iam only changing it because I want to an Ellectric sunroof other wise the pubic one would stay in it

You will be surprised how much of a budget you can do it on if you look around and wait before you buy. And do a little research instead of learning the hard way like I some times have

The way I done it was have a plan of the main things you want to do first. And then keep an eye out for all of these at the same time. Then you learn the going rate for them. And keep searching untill eny of your list comes up cheap and snap them up. Rather than start with one thing so you then just buy the first ones that are cheapest by 10£

As for is it finished. It's up running. Looks ok and is useable
But it will never be finished to point were I think there is nothing ellse I want for it. If did I would sell it because I would be board shitless and have to spend more time with her indoors

Took it for a run on sat. Whilst going down the m56 it starting miss fireing badly. And soon after stinking. Got to Chester services. Open the bonnet and there was fuel every were. Bubbling away. The injectors on these are right next to the plug leads and the seals had burst on them on the rail side not engine so was peeing out. Think I was quite lucky there realy
So removed them and found there is also some plastic bushes in the head that injectors slot into. One of these was spilt aswell
So have now removed the inlet manifold to get at them
The new parts will be hear tomorow from fords and should be good to go again tomorow night
Will take some pics before I fit them if eny body is interested

Thank you . There has been alot of swet tears and two relationships since ive owed it amongst other things. But to be able to get in and go for a drive now has definatly made me realise that it was worth more than my relationships lol.
A nice set of brakes is next on my list and then hopefully a yb . But iam sure there will be lots of little things going on inbetween as I cant help look at it with a spanner in my hand

You may get a bit more, all depends on how much someone is willing to pay. Yes it's a clean shell but it's just an lx shell, it's not a Cosworth. And it's got a twincam turbo in it which is rare but to be honest not that great.

It's a very nice car, not being horrible about it just trying to give you an honest valuation.

I buy and sell lots of sierras in all different states. To put it in to perspective I have a genuine pinto turbo technics sapphire, turbocharged from brand new with all the paperwork, full Cossie rep, very good shell, just had some paint work. That's 3k
