The time has come to have my series 1 painted was hoping to wait till winter but after someone cut me up leaving a roundabout the time has come early

Before


The damage




Engine bay



It will be having new :
Bonnet
Both wings
Front panel
Scuttle
Crossmember
Bumper

And full respray

i wish they were mate but he came across me as we left the rounabout and my corner hit his drivers rear quarter no witness and the police were not even bothered so technically from anyone elses point of view i went into him from behind so couldnt be arsed with the hassle

That bad news,

Sold my S1 end of last year, bought a Fiesta Zs to pootle around in, the end of January a cab drive jumped a red light and smacked me in the front end, he is claiming he never jumped a red light

I would say I would have been more pissed off if it was the S1 but to be honest, It would have given me the reason to make it minty.

Guess you just have to take these things on and go with them.

more done today removed dash and rest of trim front arches and skirt cut front panel out more pics tommorow after more work too tired to add them now

even more work done today but forgot the digital camera removed engine and box and cleaned bay will get pics of more work tommorow

ahhh doin it all my self so panels so far have come to about Ł230 for 2 wings ,front panel,crossmember,bonnet,scuttle,battery tray,bumper and bumper corners and my brother will be painting it for me so not too much really
Did you say to me you needed some paintwork doing?
