surprised how you squeezed that sierra front in the nova bay would have thought it would have been much wider.

ill give you a breif history of the car i built her about 7 years ago and put a 2.0 16v enigine in, polish ported head, silly cams, superchip etc was around 160bhp at the wheels and she looked like this

it ran 14.4 on quatrer mile which was ok but i wanted it quicker so this time i bought a 1.2 nova and put the same engine into it and then got a 14.1 not a great improvment but was quicker lol

so my old shell sat their and i thought to my self i wanted to make it faster and my obviouse choice was to do a 4x4 cosworth conversion for power and grip of the line so toyed with the idead for around 6 years and finally got my self a work shop and bought a sierra for Ł150, cut the nova floor out and chopped up the sierra to fit!

The car is at the stage of my last picture but obviously being a sierra floor everything bolts strait back on just need to shorten the prop and exhaust......
tbh i havent really spent much time on this and id say i could have done to this stage in 4 weeks possibly

hopefully 400-450 but the ecu will have two maps on it so i have an everyday map and a want to go bit quicker map but am restricted by standard running gear at the mo so that will be the next thing to think about once car is up and running

haha that will be insane, im no cosworth expert but am sure iv read about the 4x4 gearbox not being able take over about 380bhp (am prob wrong) haha

id imagine you will lay some 11s on the 1/4 mile

you say its not a ford but its more ford than GM you have a few body panels left from the nova and thats your lot when it comes to vauxhall bits.

Nova is lighter so the transmission can probably take a bit more power.

Please keep us updated!!
