Default xr3i project finally

about time to lol been a long time since i had a ford that worked on the road!

so i decided to treat myself to an xr3i as theres less chance of me breaking it lol

spotted her on piston heads and was in the area for a while so had a perv and decided i wanted it

pretty standard ill let the pics to talking

pics of when i got her home

quick wash and polish LOOKED spanking

but whilst polishing noticed some serious amount of bad paintwork along with some terrible filler work which i will get around to sorting with a full respray

first mod was ford racing bonnet lifters ( yes i know not every one likes them but i do!)

then fitted some plasma dials which i got off here (finnaly managed to fix them as the circuit board on the back was split

daytime

night time

then a quick photoshoot with my mate and his slr produced this awsome piccy

then decided she needed some escos wheels (also removed the spots for the mo)

then the biggest thing to date

but i have since taken it back out

but did find some bodged rear archs in the process along with a completely rotton rear strut turret

and thats pretty much it for the mo

hope yas all like

comments welcome

Thanks Jase they are indeed although this bonnet has a slight mount issue so has an enlarged bolt hole on one side but i do have an rs bonnet waiting to go on once painted

also have a full rs kit just need the black strips that the side skirts clip on to and also needs painting but i want to lower it first see how she looks then

and like i said the cage is out now

cheers for the comments guys will be a slow project due to money but will keep updating as and when anything happens (removed the red strips from the bumpers now but need to polish it up under there befor i post up)

Looks nice as it is tony i wouldn't put an rs kit on it as it looks different with the cossie rims and no kit where as if you put a kit on it it'll just look like an rs rep but its your car up to you what you want to do with it, got a set of standard rst springs if they are any good to you??

ive got my eyes set on a set of brand new apex shocks and springs -60 exactly what i had on my silver bonus on cossie rims

pic

i diddent get any scrubbing / no need to cut archs etc

and like i said the rs kit wont go on until ive decided if i like it just dropped or not :P

thanks for the offer of springs tho
