Flywheel installed with ARP bolts.
235mm clutch (Centerforce Dual friction) original application was a 1988 SHO Taurus with a 3.0l Yamaha V6 220 hp. Supposed to have 90% more torque capacity than the factory Ford 235mm clutch for the SHO V6.

Time now to remove factory wiring not needed, and to wire up the Haltech management.

looks a good project mate, be nice to see pics of the car. and if thats a standard rst headgasget it wont last 5 minutes. you need a felpro that will take more power.

Not true. A Ford or Payen gasket will take over 2 BAR of boost and 350BHP. Felpro gaskets are designed for an N/A engine and will fail under any real boost.

I'd be interested in a cam cover if you can get hold of one, Perry.

The standard RST head gasket is a high quality part.
The Felpro gaskets are terrible for the small bore 1.6 or 1.9 engines.
The RST gasket is very well engineered - take a close look at one and compare it to the
Felpoo gasket.

I will see if I can find another cam cover.
They look great with the matching efi inlet manifold.

They are very tall, and will not work with the RST inlet manifolds.
A side feed manifold would work I suspect.

No dramas there, Perry.

I also have a bulge bonnet so shouldn't have any problems.

Default Roller rocker installation - finally

After some re-machining (shortening by 3 mm) the rocker arm pedestals (were incorrectly machined by manufacturer) the rocker arms are ready for installation.

Next I must finish the engine management wiring. (sooo cold out in my garage)

Default Really nice!

Hello! This is a really sweet set up. I really like it. Can you tell me if you had any issues with the starter? Is the factory 1.9 starter ok? Or do you have to use a 2.3 starter?

Default Oil return line installation

Build is finally progressing again. Too much work, too little play time.

The wiring is almost completed - waiting a fuel pump install and the wideband O2 sensor.

To answer an earlier post - yes I am using the factory 1.9 starter.
