Default 1.8 td engine tune up

Hello guys.
Im com fromPortugal and i come here to ask what can i do in a 1.8 td, diesel engine, to get more velocity.
I want to put with more power. In portugal the informations to tune up this engine isn't the best so i wait for your recomendations.

Remap ECU or buy a chip box off ebay (do your research because some of them are not very good).

these engines are completely mechanical so remap or "plu&play" box arnt available but they can be tuned easily with some basic tools. ive done it now on quite a few occasions.

bosch or lucas pump? ive done a few too, you will prob end up blowing a piece out of the HG though
