Gents,

The long and short of it is this, I have a very clean Diamond white G plater S2 RS, its running a systems 2 litre engine from Power Eng, with all the trimmings, fmic, cossie discs, etc.
Its been welded on the arches and recently resprayed . (i am a family man now)
Heres the dilemma,
A good friend of mine wants to swap his clean Audi S3 w plate in silver for mine, his is running the 210bhp engine, and is totally standard with History, should i throw my ford towel in, or walk away....

Neither cars are daily drivers, just weekend toys...

if its just a weekend toy i would personally keep the RST....

main reason being, S3's are soo common compared to S2's so wouldnt feel as special when you go out for a spin i dont think...

im in the same boat mate apart from im thinking of selling my s2 to buy an audi s3, but ive just renewed my insurance and im saving aroung Ł800 a year so i reakon im gonna stick with the rs.

I would think the S2 is more of a weekend car, cheaper to run and is going to retain better value over time.

S2 would be the keeper imo.

why would you sll the s2 kitchy? my s2 is an everyday car and to be honest it hasnt really let me down in the 2 years ive owned it touch wood, thats another reason why i would keeo it.
