Well the car is now MOT'd and back on the road. All seems well with the diff and beam so far but it will be going to turbosystems next week for alignment before I give it too much abuse

Cheers mate, yep looking forward to it, I didn't realise how noisy the old rear diff was until I went out in it the other night, so much nicer to drive already.

I'm not sure if I'm right, but Ł550 is the price for the supra diff and the 6 degree beam????? Or do I have missunderstood something..

Thanks and cheers

It wants to be for the diff and parts as im paying more than that just for the beam from the same person.

How is it now its been set up ?

Not looked at this thread in a while, yes it is 550 for the brackets and adapters to fit the supra diff.

The car has now been set up, and on the road for a while, still lacking grip in 2nd but that is due to the crappy hankooks that are on there at the mo. I bought 235s as I wanted as much grip as possible but my old 215 kuhmos with standard beam were not much worse.

I took it for a run yesterday, didnt get far, I ended up turning round and coming back coz there were too many strange noises lol. Im used to a few with it being a cossie but I had a strange noise from the front nearside and a clicking from the back. As well as the rear tyres catching the arches every time it squatted.

Had a look today and the clicking was a bolt in the rear drive flange that had worked loose, easy fix, and cut part of the lip of the rear arches and painted the edge. Then I jacked up the front to find this

So I now need a new set of Ahmed springs

Been on another dyno day today, this time at awesome gti in Irlam.
Car made 496bhp and 445 ft-lb at the fly, and 459bhp at the wheels. Quite happy with that. Bit less at the fly than the hub dyno but more at the wheels.
Bit of a misfire at the top end on the second two runs but I think it's just tired plugs.

Also the car is now parked up at the new house, behind my new gates, ready for the new garage to be sorted

Peaked about 2.3 bar, tailing to 1.9 bar at the limiter.
I think that leader board is a bit out of date, they've had all sorts running there from looking through their computer, 800bhp dodge vipers etc.
Shit news sticky, not going to be another like boothys s2 is it?

Hi mate, im thinking about going the supra diff route, would you recommend it?

Notice anything diff from before driving it etc etc.

Just seems silly paying nearly the same for a uprated standard unit when these are alot stronger...

The diffs are all stripped checked and rebuilt
cost for the complete bolt in kit is 1K
