Well so far ive cleaned all the engine up and serviced it all to make nit run nice and also redone the interior with escort rst seats and other bits and bobs.

Ive already done a bit of welding to the usual place where they had rusted and am currently in the middle of doing the body work.

Will get some more pics up asap but every time i try to attach pictures they dont seem to work lol

Finally got the pics working. Cheers for the help

Any way after i got it i began to start work and uncovered a few secrets along the way. But it is a project so, i cracked on with it

I know me welding is not very good, in fact its crap. But its solid and i had to learn somehow

Next on the list was ot get all ma new goodies and start to put the interior back together

Also decided to make the centre console look a bit nicer

Another little additon i purchase was the 3spoke rs wheel, but it didnt have any leather on it. So i lookaround trying to find some body to re-trim it and every body who could do it want Ł200 so i thought ill give it ago my self.

After doing this did i then realise why it was so expensive to get done

The engine after it had been tidied up

The started attacking the underneath

new mk2 shocks and lowering springs all round

In the end i just decided to take the whole axel off

Things were looking a tad worn

Also just about everyone of my rubbers were knackered. So i thought ill treat the old girl

when the axel was all done it looked like this

All bolted back up

Not done to much more atm but ill be gettin more pics when more work is done. Just wanted to show everyone and get some feedback and see what you all think

The leather was brought off Ebay its like a mini trimming kit. Only thing is, it does take a fair bit of effort to do

Great work on the car it'll be a little cracker if the work you've already done is anything to go by
Are you using a mig for the welding?
Gas or gasless?
