1984 Mk3 Escort 2.0 ZVH 5 door project
well i'm not really sure how to start this so here goes:
I'm currently 16 (17 in 3 weeks) and i'm planning on going to uni to study motorsport engineering. so i thought i'd say a little bit about my first car . original i thought i was going to get a saxo or something similar but ironically i couldnt afford the insurance . by the end of this year i want to get my MSA licence and start competitive hillclimbing and as such i have big plans for this car
as it stands it's current spec is:
2.0 ZVH conversion
4 branch manifold
Dual Dellorto DHLA 40's
various internal Mods (cam etc)
straight through exhaust
lowered springs with uprated shocks
XR3i steering wheel
50,000 original miles on the clock
Pretty must completely rust free shell
Tinted rear lights
VR6 front splitter
clear front indicators
16x7 Compomotive alloys
Facet Electronic fuel pump
RS1600i Rev counter
Some cheeky pics:

Yea i did indeed, i thought when i went to see it it would be all rusty and i would be really disappointed but the whole thing is so solid. the only issues are a few dents and scrapes etc but it's destined to be a track car so that doesn't really bother me

All the wiring for the sub and amp is now out and this morning i received the new Bonnet Pins and Boot Spring kit along with some Sparco motorsport pedals so they should be on tomorrow, the interior is going to get stripped completely minus the dash and i'm going to make up some foamex door cards soon. first though i need some bucket seats, does anybody have experience with Cobra Monaco's or RMD maximum protection seats?
