The top of the inlet looks fantastic.
Please tell me you are not leaving the bottom half standard?

Other than making sure the ports are matched, theres no other reason to change the bottom half surely??

Will be keeping the bottom half of the manifold an just make sure every think matches up like Dave said, should make half decent power with the correct mods with it

Get that inlet on a flow bench.
A gasket match will do nothing to help air flow.
The factory inlet port cross sectional area is very small limiting airflow.
Eliminating the top part helps- true enough, but far more gains could be had.

I also assume the cylinder head is well modified by a competent shop?

(one sees so many so called "stage 3" home "ported" jobs - no flow bench numbers to verify
any flow gains)

the head is Std apart from a highlift cam, I didn't want to bother stripping the engine down an fitting heavily ported head an rods pistons as it's still my every day car maybe if it let go then maybe it will get all that but for now it will get all the bits around it so I can keep it on the road
