right lots of this was done but lots to do too the only thing on the dash working was the oil light, the power steering was piped up wrong and seats needed changing, made a start on wiring fixed the power steering & changed the seats moted and off we went, done some meeting with it but it needed a coat of paint so off we went to the paint shop i wanted it in rs green but when he said £1200 i fell off the chair so decided to look on ebay while still using her
i loved the cab but fancy a roof because i want to do a track day so i brought this
a 98 gti stripped out for track days & a full rs2k trim with elec sunroof which i needed to fit straught away has the other one was removed for track days along with almost every thing else lol
so i fitted the roof & parked it up till mid feb this year when i started to pull the cars apart and build the gti

now i fitted a new loom & started putting the interior only to find it didnt match the rs2k engine loom
so pulled it all out again and changed the full loom & started putting her together again i changed both beams tank pipes ect
started making good progress now i had some minor set backs put the engine in without the gearbox then found i couldnt get the box in so took it out fitted the two together then put it back in
now it was getting close so i decided i wanted to take her to rs central day at santa pod so booked the mot for friday then went to santa pod sunday what a busy week but worth it when i got to santa pod with her
