Default Mercury grey series 2 rs turbo

Just picked this up after saving and waiting i finally own an RS TURBO escort wanted one for years its had loads done to it as was dry stored for a few years so has low mileage of 70k drives spot on.

Has TAX untill august and MOT untill december

Here is the spec its an Ereg 88 spec in my favourite colour mercury grey inside is standard apart from a boost gauge interor is in excellent condition.

It has just been set up at power engineering to a safe level 167.2 BHP and on a safe boost.
Engine is where the bloke has spent loads:
Chipped ECU
Pace interccoler and Air tech aluminium radiator
Samco Hoses
Bottom end rebuilt & head
Upgraded Temp Switch and Cossie stat
New actuator
New starter and alternator
New Bosch fuel pump and injectors
New clutch
Fitted a bailey dump valve wednesday

Underneath is solid a couple of very small surface rust spots by sunroof and a few minor stone chips. The rear arches have quite a few stone chips in the usual place and a few minor dents car will be having a respray when i can afford it.

I want to keep the car standard as love the look of it.

My mate gave me a ford stereo as was missing a stereo proper retro

He said he's gonna keep it standard. So a little underside resto and tidying up the engine bay is the way to go

Whites nice mate i didn't mind what colour just this one came up locally. Im keeping this standard as think the standard ones stand out as loads have been changed about.

Have had a few quotes now for a respray so hopefully next week or two it should be going in. Cant wait
