The Turd Mk2 Fiesta Zetec Turbo cable shift gearbox time !!13-5-14
Thought I'd start a restoration thread as over the next few months I'm going to be freshening it up!
As the car stands now
cars going in for a full paint in around 3 weeks having a fibreglass bonnet fitted and some new doors fitted
also a new inlet , gearbox ratios, clutch, Flocked dash and NITROUS!!!
Engines coming out next week then the fun starts lol

Haha me?? Never lol !
not going pod mate clutch is toasted! As for the colour might keep it as it is to keep it's sleeper looks or maybe Flint grey , petrol blue or smokestone blue unsure at the moment of how far to go with it

I used to see this loads when i went up to southshore in my red mk5 escort.
Car looks a beast. Well done on your quarter time aswell and i cant imagine what it will do with the nos.

This is my first mk2 i turbo'd
Had alot of fun in this! ran a 14.2 at pod as a 1.6 cvh 4 speed box and a slipping clutch lol

update time!!!!
made a start on striping het down tonight! piccys,
had my other set of comp th blasted aswell
new mint doors
ordering a set of these
for this got it off xrti-si
bottom of the inlet yet to be blasted
other box with beter ratios!

I must admit I have a soft spot for this car and cant wait to see it in its improved spec this year.

love the car and the feature. proves that sometimes the simple home approach can beat the money boys lol. im building my mk3 escort up to take your crown though, was aiming to be the first in the 11s but looks like ull be there before i even start building mine up. also mine is being built for drag racing were yours is doing so well as a street car. Maybe ill try be the first in the 10s with a undriveable car lol

o its possible, if naturally asperated 300bhp hondas can run 10s in the US its possible. As i said mine will be specisific for drag racing and useless on the road!! dont forget a 12.01 to 10.99 aint as big a gap as 2 seconds but i do get your point. maybe hanging around with my 7 and 8 second friends is gettin to me haha

Stu Collins's erst should be fun to watch this year as well as clarkes zt mk2!
I'm aiming for classic ford in June to have mine finished along with my mate zetec turbo Orion which is the uks fastest ford Orion curretly!!
Also would be nice if crazycage had his fez finished!
