update time built the gear box up tonight changed the gear ratios in it and painted the gearbox up pics,

and how the car is looking,,

Looking good, what radiator are you using, mines spring a leak, so looking for an upgrade whilst I'm at it.

I use my standard 1.1 radiator turned upside down works a treat! As i don't have any radiator block as cooler sits below it!

Well not updated for abit built the car back up for a recent event a pod that I couldn't miss !!

To cut along story short the first run killed my engine resulting in one if not to cracked pistons!! So it's time for a rebuild full steel potted head time I think!!

How the car looked before it's outing!!

get the car back home this weekend and see how bad the damage is but by the amount of oil that came out of the breather it's dead lol oh and broke second gear in my mtx!!!

What caused it mate was it the ebay wastegate i read yous going on about ? im sure you wont be long with the car till its back up & running it didt take you long to fire it back together there

yeah thewastegate jammed shut casing itto run around 35psi whick cracked the piston should be back up and running in a few weeks hopefully

This is a random question lol, when you had the engine running with the IB5 did you swap the sump etc over to 1.8 stuff or did you just run with the top few bolts holding it together. Just curious as in a similar situation n not sure whether its worth finding the 1.8 sump or whether to just leave it with the 2.0 stuff.

well after 6 months away from the car its time to start rebuilding now christmas and new year are out of the way!!!

treated it to a new radiator track rod ends ball joints and a new sparco harness

engines striped just got to order a few bits!!

started off today by fitting my flocked dash nice one raj!!!!
