hey cool car you have I have some questions about the gearbox in your car. From what car is it from? you can fit a gearbox from an escort MK6 in a mk2 fiesta? how much power it can handle the original gearbox in the fiesta? thanks for the reply love your car very much

Evening Dean

got all your work done this morning after I spoke to you, her are some pics.

The dash before any work


first of all the 3 holes you wanted filling in


Sanded the surface smooth


Started to add some grp the the back to prevent any filler from falling through and be a stronger repair



applied some filler and smoothed



Now all the plastics were treated to the pre-adhesive soloution and flocked











Thats all the black done, left it an hour then begin cleaning the booth ready for the grey








Now thats all done its time for the first cycle under heat


Thats it mate, will be ready for despatch Thursday. Hope you happy with the work

Haha bought a 100cc 2 stroke kart this weekend one of the fastest things I've ever drove tbh

Can't wait to get the dash in mate should look the nuts!!!

is that a cossie paddle?
i used a modified cosworth paddle with a frs cover in mine, only needed a bit of the centre spline bit trimming back to stop cover fins striking the paddle.
i hope it can hold back the power

Yeah it is mate I did use a standard cosworth spinner but it just slipped so fingers crossed this will slove that issue lol!

updates,

started to build my gearbox up this weekend into the new casing with rs2000 gear sets

and got my fiber glass bonnet fitted to the car with the new aerocatch pins,
