Zakspeed inspired Mk3/4 Escort
Hi ... for a while now i've been toying with making a Zakspeed inspired Mk3 escort.
Recently i've purchased a Mk3 3-dr Escort thats a bit tired and looking sorry for itself. Now i want to build it.
I've looked into the Mk2 Escorts and the Capri that Zakspeed did so got some ideas but abit unsure where to start? also do i try and keep it FWD or do i convert it to RWD? would like it to appear like it could have been made by zakspeed!
Too many ideas!....
....Any ideas or imput would be very helpfull!

Update on my Mk3! Have been massively busy on this one!
Decided to go for a Grp 5 inspired Mk3/RS1700T build.
Spent the first two months cutting away metal till only about 15% of the original was left, set up what was left on a homemade jig to thehieght i wanted when finished and then spent months planning tacking and moving pipes till i had a full one-off spaceframe then a mammouth amount of welding! gave myself arc-eye twice NOT GOOD!!
Have mounted a dummy motor in the front and made mounts and had a Fiat rear drive gearbox rebuilt to handle the 800Bhp i'm aiming for! should keep the weight distribution even if my calculations are on target.
currently wrapping my head around the suspension!
as soon as i have the chance i'll pop up a few pictures to show my progress
