What engine is in it? Factory engine?
292 Y block or 352 "FE" engines were factory v-8's offered in 1964 F-100's

no its is a 429cj with dove heads i will send pix sunday it is a work in progress and being a retired union millwright progress is slow it has a c6 auto bm elimitor shifter and 750 cfm dual feed holley with 3/89 9 inch origanal rear gears

New capacity with + .030 bore on a 429 should be 434.71 cubic inches or 7.12 litres

Our petrol is the equivelent of $9.56 a gallon at the moment so rather you than me!

Hey Mark, curious where your from with gas @ $9.60+ a gal. I'm in Iowa in USA. We're @ $3.49 gal. Lastnite anyhow; havent been out today yet could be higher. Going 2 send pics soon as in later 2day.

I'm in the UK where we pay around 64% tax on our fuel
It's around £6 a gallon here now and you're paying the equivalent of £2.18 a gallon, we get truely raped by the tax man over here!
