You'd be far better putting an 1800 zetec from an escort (gti, si, ghia). Guaranteed to fit with minimal fuss, especially if you buy a scrap runner, you know you have all the parts that way.

Me and my brother in-law have put the complete running gear and engine from a MK5a RS2000 into a MK6 van. She flies!!

Go for it you wont regret it my Son built mine out of a RS 2K and put a collins chip in it and it flys he,s taking it on the track at Ford fair carnt wait to see how it does
