Default small update

Evening all,its been a while since I have done any thing on it,so here's a small update.
Rear inner wings and sunroof panel had very light surface rust nothing serious, but as I am a bit OCD I had to do something about it,I spent a day and half on the prep,I had to make tools to get into 80% of the bits I couldn't reach.
It felt a bit like working on a modern car, once I was happy with the prep work I used 3 tubs of rust treatment ,again adapting the tools I made to get to all the places I couldn't reach, and finally I treated all the inner parts of the shell to some Hammerite red oxide primer,By turning the shell through 360 degrees I have treated the inner sills, rear chassis rails, rear inner wings including the B and C pillars ,inner and outer sunroof panel and what was left went on the floors.
I have also painted the underside I was originally going to paint it body colour and lacquer but didn't feel it would look right over the textured stone guard so painted it satin black instead.
A few more bits left to do and it will be off the spit and on to a wheeled dolly, then hopefully get it in colour,

Thanks Ian,I've got lots of enthusiasm for a change, there are a lot of very good restorations under way at present to make me want to get mine finished.I have a few small bits of welding to finish off on the transit, some 17t stuff to prepare for the NEC then ill be back on it again.
keep your updates coming, looking forward to seeing it at some time
take care
