Finally got the cam cover into primer ready for the top coat, not sure what colour to do it yet fancy something a bit different.

Just fitted an alternator adjustment bar, its rose jointed each end and looks pretty good i thuoght. Got it at classic yesterday

Got a heat shield mate picked it up for me whilst on his hols needs a good clean but should be ok, got some cool fittings on the top. You can remove the top plate while it is in situe, anyone know where I can get these from?



Gave it a quick polish not come up too bad needs a bit more work




Here's an inside pic of the fastenings they just twist and release


He also managed to get me a 3dr front grill complete all the fastenings and tabs are there it's in great condition

Hi mate.
The fasteners are called Dzus fasteners. There used alot on race cars so check with race fabricators in your area or google dzus fasteners.

It's that time of year again for the MOT on the cossie so been under Neath vChecking it out today, all was well until a wheel stud snapped have a new one to put in

Had the car out today it went for MOT all was well, but was an interesting drive there and back with all the ice sideways more than once
Got it home in one piece though

Just got some adjustable ramps the drive on wind up kind, pretty good just given them a coat of paint, there really low so car goes on but wind up really high.

Not sure what you mean by saftey deadbolts, but you cant wind them too far it wont let you. same prinsiple as the spit we use for the mk2 escort.

Pulled the car out today gave it a good clean and had a look at changing some of the wiring to tidy it up a bit, also polished the wheels

Just put the car back together with the help of Paulsmk2 after the spigot bearing in the crank went, was screaming like hell cleaned the gearbox and put a new release bearing in too. Painted the propshaft and new stainless bolts in everything, hopefully all ok now its booked in on the performance direct insurance stand at classic ford day santa pod. Will get some pics up tomoz
