My 2L Ford Ka
Realised I've not shown you guys this. Here's my car, pulling in to Trax 2010.
This is Kenny, my 2.0 Ford Ka. I built him up myself on my driveway last Spring; built the engine the year before. The 2 litre is a Blacktop Zetec from a Mondeo running on a DESK ECU. Pretty standard except for ARP rod bolts (money was tight) and the nessacerry parts to bolt up to the IB5 gearbox in the Ka and a Silvertop rocker cover.
Out came the poxy 1.3 Ka engine.
The 2.0 just couldn't wait to be fitted.
Well it got what it wanted...
A video of it's first start if you're interested:
This is how he looks now.
And a few other bits and bobs for your viewing pleasure..
Unfortunately it's a little slow atm, as in not moving.. since my alternator mount (i welded up) is on the cock and ruined the belt. That's why I'm after an old CVH alt mount to modify to suit.
Thanks for looking guys, welcome any questions or comments.

You'd think it was quick but it just lights up the tyres in the cold. Need some R888 or something, I'm not a huge fan of the Pirelli P6000's that are on now.
By the way, I'm by no means done with this project. It's still on-going . I'm actually going to take a backward step to move forward. The bucket seats are being sold; so are the clear headlights, carbon fibre door cards, Koni fully adjustables etc. I fancy going the whole way with the sleeper look, both internal as well as external. So there'll definitely be more going up on here soon.

I don't know it's another thing I haven't quite thought up yet. Well I'll probably be after about a 50bhp increase.
So 0.019" for the fuel and 0.035" for the NOS. That should see somewhere around the right level.

bless ya pal, regret selling? your engine bay looked much tidier than mine. any chance you could PM me a few higher res pics of your build? or point me in the direction of your build thread if you made one? i need some ideas and inspiration.
at the moment a lot of the my Ka is about to take a backward step. the door cards are going, no where to rest my arm! the seats are going, look like a complete d*** getting in and out of them. so is my OMP racing wheel, the clear headlights and my radio. A few new jobs include:
fix alternator mount
weld new tensioner
paint bumpers.. matt black
fix the tacho feed for the heater control valve (bloody freezing in this weather)
fit engine mount bolts + loctite in places where they've vanished o.O
paint the Koni coilover shocks and fit the kit
paint the Mondeo V6 calipers.. and fit (probably have the carrier machined back instead of space the disc)
fit the NOS
full fluid service is needed, and fit the magnetic sump plug - then we'll see if i built the engine right.
anything else I plan to do, I haven't thought of yet!
Thanks, Andy

i got that silver ka and had a right ball ache with it due to wiring faults.
had to be recovered off the m4 about 10 miles away from where i picked it up.
couldn't go around left hand corners without the engine fouling the mount and killing the tentioner. so how it went down hill from that i dont know.
Nice ka Andy...Good work.
