Default 205 1.6 16v rally car build

well after a year in rallying , and blowing up the MIGHTY maestro in the Jersey rally

i have learnd alot from car class to rules of the blue book

i`am glad i bought my 1st car instead of building one

but now i`am building one , was doing a nova untill i seen how well the 205 goes and how much easier they are to build

so the day after i blew up the MIGHTY maestro i went out and bought a mint 205 1.6 8v

and done the following

so have the roll cage mounting points boxed , have the seat bars done , bulk head fire proofed

i have waiting to be fitted , mk2 dash , bias pedal box , lexan window kit , dtm mirrors ,adj rose jointed top mounts , rose jointed bottom arms , 309 rear beam (306 gti6 rear arms to be fitted ) , koni full kit , sump and tank gaurd , 306 gti calipers and discs , r1 bike carbs ,hybrid drive shafts, paddle clutch ,hyd vert hand brake, 106 gti engine , rallye arches . E;etric push button kill button and eletric fire extinguisher

i still have to buy seats and harnasses , but waiting untill january for the new date rules applying to new log booked cars

also have to sort out the brake lines and fue lines wich will run in car on aeroquip style pipe and fittings

bit of a boring thread if you aint in to rallying

if you need any bits for this i know someone braking a 205 gti stage rally car everything except the engine (I blew it up).

All parts stripped off the car now

2 1/4 bilsteins (forest spec suspension)
lsd box
fly off handbrake
rear disk conversion
seats etc
sump and tank guards

also a complete caged shell quite tidy for a rally car

parts in West London

Looks like a nice strong base to start building from!

I used to have a 205 stage rally car, 2.0 8v, didnt know what sort of power it was running but had all the right bits...

Sold it a year ago or so now and bought a Suzuki Swift for the F1000 class.

Adam.
