cheers lads,my last xr was an xr2 back in 94 rosso red "f"plate loved it but then got into vw's till my dad gave me his capri 2.8 special "A" been stored for 15 years in his garage he,d forgot it was there!!! we cut lock off door opened it up....
i t was like alladdins cave 3 blocks 6 heads all had been refurbed heavily greased and wrapped 2 sets of rs 4spokes 3 tailgates dash boards etc a right gold mine, towed it back to cov but the garage roof had been leaking so the floor was to far gone for me to attempt but after ringing round and looking on various forums got him Ł1500 for the lot he was well chuffed well anyway thats what gave me the ford bug again!!! will have proper look at my xr3 today as only got it yesterday and was hanging so took few pics and put her away

Just ask some one with a saxo vtr for a shot of there locking wheel nut key as they look identical.
Mate of mine years ago lost his locking wheel nut key for his focus and we just kept asking people with a focus if we could try there locking key to get his wheel off and after the third time we got a match

was acctually looking for mk2 golf gti as thats what i normally drive after selling my 20vt passat est with a hybrid manifold with a nissan skyline turbo set up 340bhp http://www.edition38.com/forums/inde...&#entry3149503 only had it a month was too mental for me no wonder the guy was desperate to swap for my 69 lhd beetle, you just couldn control it but then found myself looking at xr2's then spotted this baby with no bids as it had no v5 and been off road for 10 years,so took a chance bought it now have v5 in my name so am well chuffed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Come on mate, stick with the XR3i, know its complete shit now not having a job, we share something you know, both got An 90 spec 3i, and lost my job on the first of january! I've worked for a ford-dealer for 15 months as one of the youngest.. now its over and have to start all over... silly fact, i wanted to start with the full resto of the 3i... T_T
But you know what? That old banger is what keeps me motivated... it aint just a car mate
Best of luck finding a job! Like Mr marley said: Every little thing, is gonna be alright

just back to factory spec showroon condition hopefully although its not far off that now apart from some scapes on both bumpers and pass wheel arches one has a scrape and rear has some scabs but no holes replaced lower bit by sill as that was bad so bit off paint and a proper service and will be in for mot!
