Pacific escos(Graphs added)
Well with just getting back into an blue ovalI thought I would start a thread to keep note of any changes made. After chasing power with my old car and making a bad choice in tuners, this car will be kept under 400 bhp and hopefully as reliable as possible. The only change I might make is to go back to a standard exhaust cam and get a remap to help bottom end response.
First plans are to sort the small faults on the car so the fuse box will be replaced or repaired, and the pod gauges sent off to Brendan.
The progress will be slow but i have a few parts lying already both left over from K60SSE and from my Porsche.
Just now the car is running a 310mm disk upgrade on the front , but i have these lying so may look at making up a brake kit with the 310's on the rears and 350+ on the front.
The standard boost gauge is pointless so my old Collins 40psi gauge will be fitted in one of Mikes pillar pods
I also found my old strut top caps so these will get a coat of wrinkle black along with a brake res cover to fit in with the engine bay.
I was lucky enough to have picked up a Ryan loom last week from Doug Stirling , that fits the spec of the car with coil pack, cam cover trigger... so with any luck this along with an uprated fan loom will be fitted at somepoint.
The only other parts I could find was my old rear strutbrace and dump valve, Im not sure if either of these will be fitted but if they do they will both be painted black first.
In the mean time the car is tucked up in the garage with the heaters on

Yip its an 06 Gillard Rotax its not had much use in the last couple of months , but will be out again once the weather cleares.
Im going to more than likely get AG to fit the loom and at the same time a standard exhaust cam, then get a new chip from MSD. Looking for a responsive 360/380 engine.
Both Wenny and Mark the old owners of the car realy have done nice work to it in the past.

Think you've done the right thing having a nice car to use anytime you like and a toy in the garage. I'd change the wheels to Rondells without the center caps, my mate has his Pacifica like that and I loved the look of it.

Dunno mate. I do think about it from time to time but I'd really struggle to get one as good as the white one so it's probably best I just admire them from afar. When I move house and get my nice big garage the notion will no doubt appear again.

It seems like the EsCos is the must have for everyone even if they've had an an M3, GT3 etc. I know I won't be happy until I have one in my garage. Nothing else comes close to them for me
